Helio and Virgin Mobile to merge?
Posted: May 8th 2008 3:14PM by Chase Higgins Helio and Virgin mobile are in initial talks discussing the possibility of a merger. Both MVNO carriers are having a difficult time adding subscribers, and finding funds. SK Telecom, who currently owns the majority of Helio, has been questioned on what they plan to do to increase numbers. Both MVNO carriers are using Sprint's network. In theory, devices from each carrier would be compatible with any new entity created in a merger.
